Went during the day on a boiling hot day. Black as night inside, and icy cold. Sticky floor and bad decor. YEAH! Just what a great dive bar should be like. Friendly bartender. The requisite old dudes at the end of the bar who looked like they were there every day, permanently buzzed. No food available. Love it.

Great old school dive bar. Very impressed on our first visit, friendly people, and an awesome bartender named Sharon. Small but comfortable. Smoking bar, no food, but occasional b- day parties where food is brought in and EVERYONE can enjoy. Full liquor, pool, bowling and a package store connected. Bar has been here almost a half century, but seems to have been well maintained, cool old style cooler. Easy to find, if ya like dive bars this is one to visit.

Love this bar! Always great service, the drinks are very reasonably priced. It's one of the last bars in Sarasota you can smoke inside and the people that go there are generally pretty cool.

The diviest dive bar ever. Very cheap drinks, smoking allowed indoors, bare minimum decor. Friendly bartenders who look like they've seen shit. Amazing!
